IC Network Committees

IC Network has a number of on going task-based sub committees as well as an ad hoc committee each consisting of at least one director and up to five volunteer members.

Roles and Responsibilities of Sub-committees

1.Report and make recommendations to the Board of Directors for approval.

2.Organize subcommittee meetings.

3. Implement plans and ensure that the work of the sub-committee is completed on a timely manner.

4. Make operational decisions upon approval of the Board of Directors.

 • Assuming the role of “first link” between IC Network and the community at large
• Creating, exploring and utilizing opportunities to promote IC Network objectives within the community.
• Building a strong relationship with business owners, professionals and community members by being alert and sensitive to ongoing (community) events and proposing the appropriate action.
•  Actively communicating with people who leave messages on IC Network’s voice mail

Job seekers & Mentoring Ccommittee
Tasks:

Undertaking and executing a variety of duties/assignments to ensure a more efficient and successful mentoring programs such as:

·        planning for the date, type of industry, number of workshops, locations, and format of every mentoring program;
·        effective involvement in recruiting mentors and mentees;
·        coordinating with IC Network mentoring program partner(s) including JVS;
·        collecting, editing, analyzing, and filing all the related data for each program;
·        preparing reports for all the mentoring workshop;
·        following up with (mentee) participants after the program is completed;
·        designing and preparing all forms and questionnaires related to the program.
